These Terms govern your use of Pennie and its related services from Prayo, an independent product studio based in India. Read them together with the Pennie Privacy Policy. Contact: support@prayo.co.in.
The important distinction
These Terms are the service contract, not a separate AI policy. The single Privacy Policy explains all data handling, including AI assistance. Accepting these Terms does not authorize optional AI: it is a separate choice made through Enable cloud AI in AI Intelligence and its linked-policy agreement checkbox. Cloud AI is off unless you explicitly enable it. General policy review is not an additional AI gate. Existing opt-outs stay off.
1. Using Pennie
Pennie helps you maintain personal financial records, organize captured finance notifications, plan budgets and review local reports. It is not a bank, payment processor, broker or financial adviser. It does not confirm that a bank transaction succeeded merely because a notification was captured.
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms and use the connected services you choose. Use the app only with information and accounts you are entitled to access. Do not impersonate another person, submit unlawful content, attempt unauthorized access or deliberately bypass service limits, payment checks or moderation.
Prayo permits you to use Pennie for its intended purposes subject to these Terms and applicable store rules. You retain your rights in your own financial records and submissions. Prayo and its licensors retain rights in the app, branding and other service materials; these Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
2. Review, automation and financial decisions
Notification parsing, duplicate detection, local learning and AI suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. Check amounts, dates, currency, categories and whether an entry belongs in your ledger. If you intentionally configure auto-save, you are choosing to let matching entries be saved without individual approval; review those rules and the resulting records.
Suggestions, forecasts, charts, debt calculations and exported summaries are not financial advice, tax advice or a guarantee of future outcomes. Use source statements and qualified advice where appropriate. You remain responsible for decisions and filings based on your records.
Monthly Excel exports are generated locally. The updated app no longer creates new AI monthly reports. Review an export before sharing it, choose recipients carefully and keep independent copies of records you need. Removing the app does not recall an export or a report you previously shared.
3. Accounts, backups and optional AI
Local record-keeping does not require a cloud account. Optional account features use Google identity and Pennie's account service. Keep your device and account secure. Google Drive backup needs separate authorization and is subject to Google's service terms; signing in to Pennie is not that authorization.
Optional AI expense suggestions and bill processing require an explicit opt-in. Declining or withdrawing AI does not prevent local record-keeping or local Excel generation. See the single Privacy Policy for AI benefits, data processing and safeguards and how to manage your choice.
Cloud services depend on connectivity, service availability and applicable quotas. A paid feature does not promise unlimited AI requests or error-free results. Permissions granted to Android, Drive or advertising services remain governed by their separate choices and terms.
4. Purchases, ads and referral rewards
Available paid features and prices are shown in the app and Google Play before purchase. Google Play handles billing. Cancellation, refunds, purchase restoration and any recurring payment terms are subject to the applicable Google Play process and mandatory consumer rights. These Terms do not add a new charge or subscription beyond the purchase you authorize.
Free use can include ads and optional rewarded-ad access to particular features. Ad availability and completed rewards are not guaranteed. Earned referral ad-free time is distinct from paid Premium features. Referral eligibility and the reward offered are described in the relevant app flow; do not create deceptive accounts or manipulate redemptions.
A community Pro badge is a display-only snapshot reported by the submitting app. It is not a proof of purchase, an entitlement check or a grant of extra voting or moderation rights.
5. Community feedback and support
Participation does not require account sign-in. Guest activity is associated with a private installation credential; account linking is optional where available. One vote per identity is not a guarantee of one vote per person. Do not create identities to manipulate votes or bypass moderation and request limits.
Submitting an idea, bug report, vote or comment is optional. Only submit content you may share, without credentials, unnecessary financial details or other people's private data. By submitting, you permit Prayo to store, review, moderate and respond to it and, when approved for public visibility, display it to the community for operating and improving Pennie.
New public suggestions and community comments await moderation approval; bug reports start private. Moderators may approve, hide, reclassify or decline content. A private report may be approved for publication, so use support for sensitive matters and do not put sensitive details in a community submission. Public entries may include a cosmetic Pro flag reported at submission time.
Votes and statuses help organize feedback; they are not a delivery contract or a promise that a feature will ship on a specific date. Contact support about removing a submission. Account deletion or sign-out does not automatically remove public feedback or copies others have made.
6. Availability and responsibility
We may maintain, update or change the app and connected services. To the extent permitted by law, they are provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, perfect accuracy or freedom from data loss. Back up important data and verify restored records.
Prayo is not responsible for the independent operation of your bank, device, network, Google services or a recipient you choose for an export. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent allowed by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy describe the service; they do not certify that your use satisfies every legal, regulatory, accounting or record-retention obligation.
7. Ending use and deleting information
You can stop using Pennie, withdraw optional AI consent, revoke relevant device/Google permissions and request account deletion. Before clearing storage or uninstalling, export anything you need. Manage Google Play purchases and Drive backups separately.

We may restrict connected-service access to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements or non-payment of a purchased service, subject to applicable law. Such restrictions do not create a right for us to access your local ledger.
8. Updates and contact
These Terms are version 2026-09-25, effective . Updated versions will be published here and presented in the app where relevant, including to existing signed-in users. Reviewing or accepting an update is not a blanket consent to optional AI or a materially changed purpose.
If you do not agree to updated service Terms, stop using the affected service and contact us about any questions or applicable rights. You can request help exporting or removing information without providing passwords or unnecessary financial details.
